Podcast Appearance on BCS Unplugged with Lee O’Neil and Peer Leaders from Musselman High School

podcast speakers

In this inspiring podcast episode, Lee O’Neill from Sources of Strength and the Brian O'Neil Jr Foundation joins peer leaders from Musselman High School to explore how peer-led initiatives are transforming mental wellness and resilience. The discussion highlights how building connections, fostering coping skills, and finding purpose create protective factors for youth.

Lee shares a powerful message: “You are enough and you matter.  We are all human and we all experience the same emotions of anger, depression, anxiety, and stress.  These are normal human emotions.  Learn to define your strengths of family support, positive friends, mentors, healthy activities, generosity, spirituality, physical health, and mental health to help manage these emotions.  And always remember "I AM WORTHY".  I love I am statements I truly believe if you keep reading, saying I am worthy it becomes internalized and becomes a belief for yourself.
