Kelly Lopez

Ms. Kelly Lopez is the mother of two and a family nurse practitioner. She is a 2006 graduate of the Shepherd University Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program. She is a three-time graduate of West Virginia University (WVU) with a Bachelor of Arts & Science in English in 1999, a Masters of Science in Nursing in 2017, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2020. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and a Certified CCAR Emergency Department Recovery Coach Professional (RCP). She has been active in our community for the last five years especially in the areas of substance abuse and mental health. She is the Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Brian O’Neil Jr. Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and a member of the Eastern Panhandle Recovery Coach Association. She previously served on the Harm Reduction steering committee for the Berkeley County, WV Health Department. She is also a member and previous presenter for the International Nurses’ Society on Addiction, West Virginia Chapter.
